<aside> 💡 The Language Placement Evaluation (LPE) is a free placement test offered by the MLL department. It is designed to determine your language level in order to place you accurately in the language program and determine which class you should start with.

See Language proficiency requirements and assessments at GVSU for information on all language evaluation/assessment options at GVSU. Along with the LPE, we offer two other test options: the FLATS Exam and the CLEP Exam.
