📄 Language Placement Evaluations, FLATS, and CLEP

20230301_153839.jpg

💡 The Language Placement Evaluation (LPE) is a free placement test offered by the MLL department. It is designed to determine your language level in order to place you accurately in the language program and determine which class you should start with.

❓ Why should you take the Language Placement Evaluation (aka “placement test”)?

 1. The LPE is free to you as a student
 2. You save time and money by starting at the appropriate level and taking fewer classes
 3. This is also important to take if you are a new language student

See World Language Evaluation Options: placement test, FLATS, Stamp4S, and CLEP for information on all language evaluation/assessment options at GVSU. Please consider looking through our to answer other questions you may have as well.
